About Endacopia

What is Endacopia?

Endacopia is a point-and-click puzzle adventure that mixes cartoony presentation with sudden bursts of violence and psychological horror. You play as the player's guardian angel looking after Mellow, a small child who gets pulled through a strange house and ends up in a surreal world where he has to recover his lost eyes, hands, and mouth. Each recovered sense unlocks new interactions — until he's whole again, the only puzzles he can solve are ones driven by walking and bumping into things.

Who made Endacopia

Endacopia is created, drawn, programmed, sound-designed, and written by Andyland as the solo credited creator. The soundtrack is composed by Packtion. Andyland both develops and self-publishes the game.

What does "Endacopia" mean?

The leading explanation is that the name comes from Mellow's own misreading of the word "endoscopia" — fitting for a child who keeps stumbling into medical rooms and surreal surgeries. The claim only appears in community sources right now, so treat it as the most likely origin rather than confirmed fact until the developer weighs in directly.

How long is Endacopia?

HowLongToBeat's polled average is roughly 10 hours total: about 6½ hours for the main story, around 10–11 hours for main + extras, and closer to 12–13 hours if you're going for completionist territory. Take it as a guide — solo play pacing, secret hunting, and which bosses you fight will push your run noticeably longer.

Is Endacopia a horror game?

Endacopia is tagged as horror by Steam, but it's not a straight horror title. The game mixes genuine menace — a serial killer stalking Timesville at night, brutal boss fights, jump scares, and disturbingly detailed death cutscenes — with cartoon comedy, absurdist writing, and heartfelt character moments. Expect tonal whiplash, not constant dread.

Release and platform status

The full game launched on Steam for Windows on July 27, 2026, developed and self-published by Andyland. The Steam store page also lists Mac and PC under platforms, but as of the current build only the Windows release is confirmed shipped; the demo is the only build that's been published for macOS. English is the only supported language at release.

What engine is Endacopia built on?

There's no first-party confirmation of the engine in the current sources. Don't trust fan guesses based on file formats alone — until Andyland says otherwise, treat the engine as unconfirmed.

Controls

Endacopia is mouse-and-keyboard only — there's no controller support. You move Mellow with WASD, cycle between Observe / Touch / Talk actions with the right mouse button, perform the equipped action with the left mouse button, and click on Mellow with the Interact action to open the inventory. Some mini-games add Space (jump, time presses) on top of the same scheme.
