Endacopia Demo Guide

Endacopia demo information covering release history, official platforms, walkthrough and secrets, length, controls, and differences from the full game.

Demo status and history

The Endacopia demo first appeared as a Kickstarter-era build on itch.io for Windows and macOS, and later got a browser version hosted on Newgrounds. With the full game's launch, a separate Endacopia Demo build went up on Steam, released on April 20, 2026. Andyland has since edited the itch.io demo page to redirect players to the Steam release of the full game — that's the version most current players mean when they talk about the demo today.

Where to play the demo

The demo is available on three official channels: Steam (Endacopia Demo, app ID 4582420), itch.io (AndyL4nd's Endacopia Demo page, with separate Windows and macOS downloads), and Newgrounds, where a browser version is hosted. Steam is the simplest option for Windows players, itch.io is the only first-party macOS build, and Newgrounds is the only browser build.

Demo vs full game: platform support

The full game's Steam page lists Mac and PC as supported platforms, but only the Windows release is confirmed shipped right now. The macOS demo is the only macOS build Andyland has published so far. Don't expect the Steam full game to launch on Mac out of the box — until Andyland says otherwise, the macOS demo is the only Mac option.

Controls and how to play

The demo uses the same control scheme as the full game: WASD to move, right-click to cycle between Observe / Touch / Talk actions, left-click to trigger the equipped action, and click on Mellow with Interact equipped to open your inventory. Controller input is not supported.

Demo walkthrough

The demo covers the prologue: meeting the talking sign Tip, escaping Henry's house, and dropping through the toilet into the strange world below. You'll wake up missing your senses and meet the tongue living in the toilet who offers to take you somewhere else — at which point the demo stops and points you to the full game. If you want a step-by-step, the prologue section of the Complete Walkthrough covers the same opening beats in detail.

Complete Walkthrough

Demo-only secrets

The demo has its own small hidden interactions, including a boss fight with a cuckoo clock that you can either negotiate with or punch into pieces, and a number of off-the-path conversations with the inhabitants of Henry's house. Treat anything past the toilet drop as full-game territory — see the Secrets page for everything else.

Secrets

How long is the demo?

A clean demo run takes roughly 30 minutes, with another 10–15 minutes if you want to see the optional Clocky boss fight or poke at the surrounding house. Plan on under an hour either way.

What's different from the full game

The demo stops at the toilet drop. Everything past that point — Timesville, Misery Town, the Office, the fishing system, the dice gambling, and all three endings — is full-game only. The full game also adds controller-free combat with stamina and health bars, multiple save-state progression tracked across areas, and the full Achievements list.

Is there a mobile version?

No official mobile build exists. Anyone offering an "Endacopia mobile" download outside the official channels above isn't a first-party release, so stick to Steam, itch.io, or Newgrounds if you want the real thing.
